Optimizing Conveyor Efficiency: The Essential Role of Belt Guide Rollers

For various reasons, the conveyor belt may tend to drift laterally at times. In these cases, to limit the problem, it’s possible to use vertical rollers with cantilevered spindles, generally known as belt guide rollers. These special rollers for conveyors allow a continuous and immediate alignment of the belt, despite the stress to be beard due to the transportation of heavy loads.

There are multiple advantages associated with the installation of guide rollers for conveyors and the provided alignment of the belt. Their use allows a more efficient, long-lasting and safer functioning of the conveyor system. To keep the belt in the right running helps to avoid slips and fall risks of the conveyed materials for operators during functioning and reduce the waste of resources. Of course, this also cut downtimes and unplanned maintenance interventions of the belt. As last consequent advantage, the use of guide rollers for conveyor may clearly increase productions and profits of the industry in question.

However, it’s necessary to pay particular attention to the use of such rollers for conveyors, so that the forces on the guide roller by the belt do not damage the belt edge. In other words, guide rollers do not eliminate the true reason for the belt tracking off; therefore, the belt may consequently ride over the guide roller or become distorted against it. For these reasons, it’s advisable to always use guide rollers on the so called self-centralizing transoms which rotate automatically whenever the belt tracks off conveyor center and self-corrects.

Main features
Very Solid High Wall Thickness, Resistant to Belt Edge Wear

Our belt guide rollers feature a robust construction with an exceptionally thick wall design, ensuring maximum durability and resistance to wear, particularly at the belt edges. This high wall thickness helps protect the roller from the constant friction and pressure applied during material transport, significantly reducing the risk of damage. The enhanced strength also prevents premature wear, making these rollers ideal for heavy-duty applications where harsh conditions and intense load-bearing are common. As a result, they help maintain the integrity of the conveyor belt, reducing maintenance costs and prolonging the life of both the rollers and the belt

Top Closed Tight Shell + Smooth Rotation Due to Contactless Seals

Our belt guide rollers are equipped with a top-closed, tightly sealed shell, designed to protect the internal components from dust, dirt, and moisture. This sealed design ensures the rollers remain operational in harsh environments, with minimal risk of contamination. The rollers also feature advanced contactless seals that reduce friction, allowing for smooth, efficient rotation. This unique sealing system enhances the overall performance of the roller, ensuring quieter and more energy-efficient operation, while simultaneously reducing wear and extending service life. The smooth rotation provided by the contactless seals ensures that the conveyor belt is guided effectively with minimal resistance

Standard + All Requested Executions (Ex, for Pipe Conveyor)

Our belt guide rollers are available in standard configurations, as well as customized executions to meet specific customer requirements, including those for pipe conveyors. Whether for general bulk material handling or specialized applications, we offer tailored solutions to fit a variety of conveyor systems. These rollers can be adapted to different operational needs, including temperature extremes, corrosive environments, or space constraints. With the flexibility to meet any application request, including complex configurations like pipe conveyors, our rollers provide reliable, high-performance alignment and protection for all types of conveyor belts
