At the core of EPS-AS1 series lies a unique patented design, the result of Rulmeca’s extensive expertise in in pallet and heavy-load transport technology. Unlike conventional rollers that often demand frequent lubrication and complicated maintenance procedures, the EPS-AS1 is an oilless motorized roller: construction that significantly minimizes downtime. The roller is powered by a three-phase asynchronous motor: a robust and energy-efficient motor type widely trusted in industrial applications for its durability and steady performance. This motor is coupled with a durable planetary gearbox, selected specifically for its high torque capacity and excellent resistance to wear and stress. Together, these components ensure smooth operation, consistent performance and long service life, even under continuous or demanding workloads.

The EPS-AS1 integrates a three-phase asynchronous motor, a planetary gearbox, internal bearings and mechanical parts designed with self-lubricating materials. As a result, the roller operates efficiently without the need of periodic oil changes or manual lubrication. This leads in reduced maintenance requirements and operational downtime, greater cleanliness and safety.
The IP54 protection rating certifies its resistance against solid particles (like dust) and water exposure.
