Rulmeca PL rollers are full polymer rollers designed for belt conveyors for severe bulk handling applications. Their design uses premium plastic materials for the most critical parts: roller shell is PVC, while bearing housings are in polypropylene with fiberglass.

Product testing and plant trials have well demonstrated that polymer rollers are a cost-effective alternative to traditional materials such as steel, bronze and aluminum in bulk handling applications. PVC and polypropylene are highly resistant to most chemical agents, water and humidity and other corrosive elements present in the environment or the conveyed material itself. Also, rollers PL can handle low and high temperatures from -10°C to +50°C and support heavy loads. Besides that, polymer rollers feature higher lightness, balance and noiselessness, as well as reduced energy consumption, due to outer PVC shell and contact-free parts in the sealing system.

Therefore, polymer rollers PL provide a long working life combined with low maintenance costs even where difficult working conditions prevail: mines and extraction industries, chemical industries, fertilizer manufacture, marine environments.
