Maximizing Efficiency with Self-Centering Troughing Sets for Precise Belt Tracking

In challenging operational environments, belts can often shift laterally, leading to misalignment and operational inefficiencies. To counter this, self-centering troughing sets are employed to correct belt tracking and maintain the belt in a central position. These sets consist of a series of rollers arranged in a trough configuration, mounted on a transom that is connected to a slewing ring, allowing limited rotation of 5-8 degrees to accommodate vertical loading. The design also includes a tapered roller bearing to absorb side forces. Ideal for installation on the upper strand, these self-centering sets ensure smooth and consistent belt operation. It is recommended to install them approximately 15 meters from the pulley and at a pitch of 30 meters. Available in three models—S with a rigid arm, F with a pivoting arm and brake, and R with a centralized pivoting arm for reversible belts—these sets are designed to be easily interchangeable with standard transoms.

Main features
Highly Efficient & Robust Self-Aligning Troughing and Return Sets

Our self-aligning troughing and return sets are engineered for maximum efficiency and durability, ensuring consistent belt tracking and optimal conveyor performance. The robust design features high-quality components, allowing these sets to operate seamlessly in a variety of challenging environments. They are ideal for both standard and reversible conveyors, maintaining precise belt alignment and preventing operational inefficiencies due to lateral belt movement. Perfect for high-load applications, these sets provide a dependable solution for maintaining conveyor system stability

Long-Life Reliable Function, Thanks to Large Hardened Slewing Bearing with Full Balls Complement

The long-lasting performance of our self-aligning sets is achieved through the use of large, hardened slewing bearings with a full complement of balls. This advanced bearing design enhances load-bearing capacity and minimizes friction, extending the lifespan of the system even in demanding conditions. The slewing bearing ensures smooth rotation while absorbing side forces, preventing wear and ensuring a reliable, consistent function over time. This design is particularly beneficial in high-impact applications where longevity and durability are crucial

Using Standard Carrying or Return Rollers (With No Rubber Rings)

Our self-aligning troughing and return sets utilize standard carrying or return rollers, designed for efficient performance without the use of rubber rings. These rollers offer exceptional support and durability, ensuring proper load distribution across the belt. The absence of rubber rings simplifies maintenance and minimizes material buildup, making these rollers ideal for applications with minimal risk of material adhesion. Their straightforward design reduces complexity while maintaining high performance and low maintenance requirements, perfect for efficient and reliable conveyor operation
