Next to belt friction rollers 138, rollers 135 are the designed alternative for round belt driven roller conveyors. As distinguishing feature within belt rollers category, grooves are not made directly in the tube. Instead, two polyamide grooved heads are specifically designed for round belts Ø 4 or 5 mm to run in. This configuration not only makes the roller available in all its length for the material handling, but also helps to keep tube concentricity. As a result, transmission can be completely enclosed and space-saving preventing contact with the conveyed material and belt misalignment, but maintaining driving force. However, handling speed under 0,8 m/s is recommended due to the transmission system.

Belt driven rollers series 135 allow for maximum system modularity and handling flexibility. On one hand, they are perfectly interchangeable with belt friction rollers 138. On the other hand, different tube lengths and executions are available. In particular, they can be provided with PVC tube or steel tube, the latter having possible antistatic execution too.

Finally, it’s worth it to remember that belt driven roller conveyors are really safe systems for operator and free from accidents due to overload, since every roller can be stopped singularly with one hand.
