Other information about the product

Motorized Pulley 500H, Ø 500 mm

Motorized pulleys 500H cover the most required demands of bulk handling conveyor market since they are meant for all applications where belt conveyors call for a very large pulley diameter. It’s the case of grain storage, cement, steel and fertilizer handling, heavy mobile crushing & screening equipment.

However, belt tension calculation (T1+T2) is always recommended to derive needed torque and power to move the conveyor. If the estimated belt tension is out of the maximum admissible radial load as recommended or multiply thick, heavy or large belts increasing belt tension are used, Rulmeca provides other series of motorized pulleys.

H means Heavy-duty motorized pulleys

The execution of motorized pulleys 500H is designed to withstand the heaviest application demands. Their internal components, including the gearbox, the Ø 65 mm shaft and the matching bearings, are extremely strong and designed to efficiently work in the presence of irregular, tough and extreme conditions.
