Rulmeca operates a Service centre fully dedicated to the repair and assembly of Motorized Pulleys
The 165LS model is designed to deliver dependable drive performance in compact conveyor systems where space constraints and operational efficiency must be carefully balanced. With a slightly larger size compared to smaller ranges, it offers increased capability while maintaining a compact and integrated design.
To ensure correct operation, it is essential to evaluate the belt tension (T1+T2), which must always remain within the maximum allowable radial load. The use of thick, heavy or wide belts can significantly increase system stress and should be considered during the selection phase. When higher load capacity is required within this size range, the 165E version can be considered as an alternative solution.
The 165LS is equipped with a machined helical gearbox available in 2-stage or 3-stage configuration, designed to provide smooth and efficient power transmission. Its carbon steel shell, combined with an IP66/67 enclosure class, ensures reliable protection against dust, water, and other environmental factors.
Integrated thermal protection switches support safe and continuous operation, while optional configurations include a stainless steel exterior for washdown or corrosive environments. A reinforced thick-wall shell option is also available to meet specific mechanical requirements. With a minimum roller length of 400 mm and a power range from 0.11 to 1.5 kW, this model provides a balanced combination of compactness and performance. It is particularly suited for systems that require reliable operation within limited installation space, without compromising efficiency.
These motorized pulleys are developed to offer consistent performance, durability, and ease of integration, making them a practical solution for compact material handling systems.
A complete range of material handling components for conveyors, characterized by reliability and durability, offering solutions for all requirements.
Plus
The fully enclosed design integrates all drive components within a single unit, reducing the need for external elements. This allows for a cleaner system layout and simplifies both installation and maintenance activities.
The internal configuration is engineered to distribute loads evenly, helping to reduce vibration and mechanical stress. This contributes to smoother performance and supports long-term reliability.
The sealed structure protects internal components from external contaminants such as dust, moisture, and debris. Combined with durable materials and optional corrosion-resistant configurations, this ensures consistent operation even in demanding conditions.
Optional
Smooth or specially grooved lagging to increase friction between the shell and conveyor belt
Specially produced lagging, profiled to suit the belt manufacturers series of plastic modular belt
Special laser cut sprockets based on the specification of modular belt manufacturers
