Designed for compact conveyor systems, the 138LS model provides an efficient and reliable drive solution where space is limited and precision is required. Despite its small size, it delivers consistent performance and low maintenance, making it a practical choice for light-duty material handling operations that demand reliability within a reduced footprint.
Selecting the correct solution requires careful evaluation of the belt tension (T1+T2), which must always remain below the maximum allowable radial load. Particular attention should be given when using thick, heavy or wide belts, as these can significantly increase system load and impact performance. If the required belt tension cannot be achieved within these limits, a larger diameter pulley should be considered to ensure proper functionality and long-term reliability.
The 138LS model features a machined helical gearbox integrated within a compact structure, designed to ensure smooth power transmission and efficient operation. Its enclosure class of IP66/67 provides effective protection against dust and water ingress, allowing the unit to operate reliably even in environments where exposure to external elements is a concern.
For applications requiring enhanced resistance, the pulley is also available in a stainless steel configuration, making it suitable for washdown conditions or environments where corrosion protection is essential. This flexibility allows the product to adapt to different operational requirements while maintaining consistent performance.
