We at Rulmeca are convinced that it’s only by involving our strategic suppliers that we can make major improvements in the environmental and social impacts made by our products.
The Rulmeca Group’s (Rulmeca) Suppliers Code of Conduct (Code of Conduct) is a collection of clauses and practical principles that guide the behaviour of our suppliers. Its objective is to promote good practice, and to influence daily actions within a supplier’s organisation and in its relationships with businesses in the Rulmeca Group.
Rulmeca’s Suppliers are asked to commit to following this Code of Conduct, and to forbid any action which, even if committed in their own interests or those of Rulmeca, may be contrary to the law or to this Code.
Rulmeca is sensitive to the habits and cultural practices in the countries in which it operates, but where there are conflicts between these habits and this Code of Conduct, Suppliers are asked to follow the provisions of the Code.
This Code of Conduct is not intended to replace any law or local regulation nor has priority over it, and it is in line with the values set out in the Rulmeca Group’s Code of Ethics. This Code of Conduct is inspired by principal international law, such as the United Nations’ (UN) Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the principles expressed by UN Global Compact, and the UN’s Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
