Push Back trolley LIFO
The Push Back trolley LIFO system is intended for the intensive storage of low-turnover goods, loaded on pallets forked on the long side (1200 mm).
Since it is based on the "Last in - First out" logic, this system is suitable for the storage of non-perishable goods or goods that can be easily grouped into lots of similar size.
Its features make it particularly suitable for use in refrigerating rooms.
The trolley LIFO is used to store pallets according to the "Crossway" logic, i.e. when the standard pallet shall be forked and stored on the long side and it were unable to slide along the roller tables. The pallets are directly placed on independent trolleys sliding along two bearing tracks, thus removing all the problems due to the pallet shape and wear.
The trolley LIFO configuration is the one typical of a dynamic warehouse, the sole force of gravity ensures that goods are constantly made available on the load/unload front and it can provide for an easy management of stocks.
The load system of goods is of a push-back type: the pallet to be stored pushes the trolleys already arranged on the way to the bottom and it is placed on a new trolley made available. A coloured item on the last trolley shows even for the ways most on the top that the last place of the way where the pallet is directly placed on the tracks is made available.
At the time of unloading, the pick-up of a pallet enables the subsequent trolleys to move down to the unload front.
Compared to a traditional static warehouse, it offers all the advantages of a dynamic warehouse. Compared to a "drive-in" warehouse, the trolley LIFO can provide for more saturation of the space made available, greater user-friendliness and, therefore, less control time and more safety.
