Roller series 117 is versatile, smooth running and silent conveyor roller. It's ideal for various conveying processes where low noise emissions are required for a more healthy and pleasant working environment.
Owing to its technical features, this roller is able to always act as silent conveyor roller, regardless application circumstances. The bearings are housed in black color Polyamide end-caps; they are radial precision ball bearings permanently lubricated (6002-2RZ std. type or in stainless steel for shafts up to d.14, 6003-2RZ for shaft d.17), protected by a RAL 1023 yellow color labyrinth shaped Polypropylene cap. The end-caps shape, assembly accuracy and bearing type make roller series 117 particularly strong. This allows it to behave correctly even in driven and belt applications. The tube may be in normal steel tube, zinc plated steel or in special anti-shock PVC. The PVC or AISI 304 stainless steel tube, also combined with stainless steel bearings, is ideal for silent conveyor applications even in corrosive, foodstuffs and wet environments. Moreover, roller series 117 can withstand wide temperature ranges: from –5° C to +80° C for steel tube version and from –5° C to +50° C for PVC tube version. Instead, working conditions must be verified for applications in lower temperatures.
To make sure of the highly efficient and silent conveyor roller’s functioning, we suggest conforming to the standard executions and lengths. If need be, for different executions it’s necessary to specify the type, the shaft diameter and execution, the tube diameter and execution, the “C” length.
Final additional benefit of roller series 117 concerns its mounting. The spring-loaded shaft offers a fast and easy installation on the conveyor or else the shaft can be drilled and threaded for screw fastening, making a more rigid and strong assembly.
