Rollers 111 are idle rollers for light weight unit material handling gravity conveyors. Due to their quality design and selected materials, they are highly versatile and applicable to many industrial uses.
Rollers 111 are obtained from an excellent combination of polymers and steel making them extremely light, smooth running, noiseless and consequently limiting gravity conveyors slopes even with light unit items. Moreover, due to their resistance to wear, moisture, abrasion and corrosion, these rollers not only have their ideal application in normal but also in corrosive and wet environments. In particular, allowable temperatures range from –5°C to +50° C for the PVC tube and –5°C to +80° C for steel tube; applications in lower temperatures must be verified according to the different working conditions.
Rollers 111 can also be used as certified food conveyor rollers in their available version with stainless steel AISI 304 tube and shaft execution. Conveyor systems in food and beverage industry are required to comply with strict hygiene regulations to prevent the risk of food cross contamination. Rulmeca rollers 111 have all requirements of a perfect food conveyor roller: the smooth stainless-steel surface reduces the risk of corrosion and enables good cleaning withstanding the regular washing and disinfection of equipment.
