Rulli Rulmeca SpA declares the conformity of some components of their products range to the anti explosion norms ATEX 94/9/EC
Rulli Rulmeca S.p.A. located in Almè - Bergamo Italy, a worldwide leading manufacturer of equipment for belt conveyors in bulk handling applications, declares that
some of the key-components inside their products range, namely:
Rulmeca rollers series PSV Fixed Stations with rollers Garland Stations, normal and Valmec® type
are designed and manufactured in conformity to the norms of the "ATEX" 94/9/EC Directive.
Starting from 31-01-05 the above mentioned Rulmeca products are then classified as "components" to be assembled in devices type:
Ex Group I, category M2 (for Mines)
Ex Group II, category 2G (for Gas) and 2D (for Dust)
Ex Group II, category 3G (for Gas) and 3D (for Dust)
able to be utilized in belt conveyor systems for material handling, built to run in Explosion risk areas classified: Z1, Z2 (for Gas) and Z21, Z22 (for Dust), provided that they are assembled and used in conformity to the instructions that the manufacturer Rulli Rulmeca will provide to the constructor.
Rulmeca Motorized Pulleys, manufactured by the German DaughterCompany Rulmeca FAA GmbH, can be supplied on request in dust explosion proof version - ATEX - Zone 22 - for applications handling of dusty grain - Directive 94/9/EC.
