PRECISMECA
Equipements de Manutention is located in the eastern part of France near the German border and is one of the 10 RULMECA Group companies all over the world.
PRECISMECA was created in Ancy/Moselle in 1956 to manufacture conveyor steel frames and became in the early 60's part of the BABCOCK Group in Germany.
Relocated in Otterswiller in 1967 to begin with the production of rollers and pulleys for belt conveyors.
The company grew very fast, manufacturing more than 500 000 rollers a year for the coal and steel industry in France and a lot of export countries in Europe, Africa and Asia.
At the same time partnerships with Engineering companies have been concluded to increase export sales.
Since years the PRECISMECA roller is a reference of quality in the conveying industry.
In 2000 the company became part of the RULMECA Group to build the world largest bulk components manufacturer.

Quality has always been an important PRECISMECA concern.
The company has been working according a quality management system certified to ISO 9001 requirements in 1996.
Our objective through this certification is to avoid any default. PRECISMECA is focusing the needs of their customers from the first contact, following their specifications during the design and the manufacturing process, the packing and the shipping.
Due to the important experience over the years in various types and sizes of conveyor systems we are not only a component producer, but also a consultant for our customers.

Company facilities:
With 4500 m2 covered facilities, PRECISMECA has a production capacity of more than 500 000 of different rollers. Over the years a large range of products has been developed.
Special rollers in small quantities and standard rollers in big quantities are both efficiently produced with a high quality level on tailor designed machines by a highly skilled personnel.  Due to stock production of rollers and components PRECISMECA is very flexible, reacts very quickly to any customer needs and propose very short delivery times.
To ensure a high quality level of their products, PRECISMECA selects only ISO 9001 certified suppliers and works out in the manufacturing process all the internal necessary controls in accordance with their quality insurance manual. Mechanical engineering has been our daily business for nearly 50 years, making PRECISMECA as one of the most experienced supplier in the bulk handling business.
