The Rulmeca Group acquires Danrol

The Italian Group Rulmeca has acquired the Danish producer of drum motors for supermarket check-outs and light duty belt conveyors incorporating manufacturing facilities in Denmark and Poland.

The founding partners of Danrol, Gert Riget & Alvin Christensen, who will remain as Managing Directors in the business  comment” we are very pleased that the business we personally founded will join an international private owned company such as Rulmeca, which provides plenty of opportunities for the business to develop positively in the coming years”.

The Rulmeca Group, a family company founded in 1962, with head office near Bergamo in Italy, employs 1200 people in 9 manufacturing companies and other 11 commercial companies, specialized in manufacturing and marketing of rollers, motorized pulleys/drum motors, components and solutions for the global materials handling market.

Danrol, founded in 1987, with manufacturing in Denmark & Poland, employs 65 people and are specialized in drum motors for Unit materials handling, with export to more than 50 countries.
