Giambattista Marchesi, famous runner from Bergamo, happily concluded the TransCanada Coast to Coast

Great satisfaction for Giambattista Marchesi, famous 74-year-old Bergamasco runner, who walked on foot in Canada following the legendary Transcanada Coast to Coast route leaving from Vancouver on June 3rd.
He arrived at the finish line on August 27 at 11:45 am (Canadian time) at Halifax. It's the first time that such a adventure is faced. Giambattista Marchesi traveled a total of 6,471 km in 86 days maintaining a daily average of 75,244 km. A height difference of 50,000 meters has been estimated.
